Job Description
DocXellent is seeking an ETL/SQL Development Professional to carry out new development for reporting initiatives and data migrations. Applicant will also be required to support existing customers and day-to-day support of existing systems. Applicant must have a superior understanding of SQL Server and ETL toolsets. Will be part of a small team of product, project management and technical services SMEs working on multiple projects and thus, need to possess the aptitude to learn quickly, as the expectation is to become a subject matter expert (SME) within the DocXellent software suite. We have many clients whom have complex data movement from varying legacy systems (SAP, Lotus Notes, Excel, Oracle, Excel, etc) and transformation requirements. The role is very SQL dependent and requires an advanced understanding of SQL Databases. All developed solutions require documentation & training so that our Support team can assist in aiding internal/external clients.
Responsibilities
- Client Facing – ability to communicate directly with customers about their business requirements
- Deliver solutions to complex data projects
- Develop SQL Objects and Reports for end customers
- Troubleshoot data issue quickly and communicate the resolutions in clear user-friendly language to customers or internal staff
- Ownership of ETL / SQL Server areas of expertise
- Database Architecture/Design of Reporting Data Marts and Data Warehouse
- SQL Server Best Practices
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or related experience
- 10+ Years of SQL Server T-SQL
- 8+ Years of Hands on ETL Development (SSIS, Informatica, Other Toolsets are open for discussion)
- 8+ Year of Report Development using Telerik, SSRS, Crystal Reports or similar
- 5+ Agile/SCRUM
